First Month of Hockey Update!
With a month under our belts, the North Central Predators Montana's Cookhouse Minor Bantam are having their best season start in team history.

Our first league game of the season started off shaky with a loss to the Markham Waxers 8-3.  It wasn't a great showing for the Preds however they were able to bounce back quickly for their next big game.

The following Tuesday the Preds took on the Barrie Colts at home and pulled off a solid 3-2 win with both Barrie's goals coming on the power play.

The Preds made their way to visit the Oshawa Generals for a late Friday night game. Winning 5-2, the game was wide open with a lot of success on the attack. The Preds had control for most of the game.

The Quinte Red Devils made their way to Rama for our next home game.  They were coming off of a big win vs Barrie the day before and were hoping for another win.  However, the Preds pulled off a 2-1 win against a very aggressive and fast Quinte team.

This past weekend, we had two away games in both Whitby and Ajax.  Whitby is always a tough battle and the Preds played well and were able to pull off a huge 5-3 win.  The hard fought wins always help to boost the team up.

In Ajax on Sunday, the game started off really fast for the Preds with 4 goals in the first 6 minutes.  The Raiders came back strong and made a game of it. The game was tight in the 3rd but the Preds hung on and took the W by a 6-4 margin.

All in all, we finish the first month of league play with a 5-1 record.  Keep it going boys.... GO PREDS GO!!
