Preds Go To Finals - London Tournament
The Mclean & Dickey Insurance Major Bantam Predators took part in the London Jr Knights Wendy Dufton Memorial Tournament over the Thanksgiving weekend.

The Mclean & Dickey Insurance Major Bantam Predators took part in the London Jr Knights Wendy Dufton Memorial Tournament over the Thanksgiving weekend.

The tournament offered the team some stiff competition, however they still ended the preliminary portion of the tournament undefeated with 2 wins and 2 ties.  This led them into a Semi Final game against the Barrie Jr Colts, who always play the Preds tough.  With a 2-1 Overtime victory it setup a Championship game against the last 2 undefeated teams.  Unfortunately, the Nickel City Sons prevailed with a 5-4 Overtime victory of the Major Bantam Predators.  It was a tough loss but the team hopes to build on the success going forward.

Game 1 vs. Markham Waxers - 1-1 tie
Game 2 vs. Ottawa Valley Titans - 5-4 victory
Game 3 vs. York Simcoe Express - 3-3 tie
Game 4 vs. Southern Tier Admirals - 5-0 victory

Semi Final vs. Barrie Colts - 2-1 OT Victory
Finals vs. Nickel City Sons - 5-4 OT Loss

A great team effort by the players was the reason for success.  Thanks to all the parents, coaches and fans for the support throughout the weekend.

Marchesiello began practicing in Port St. Lucie, FL and then returned locally to Saratoga Springs, NY.  He received his Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University, Boston, MA; he later received a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree at Russell Sage Graduate School while practicing physical therapy full time locally in Saratoga Springs, NY and owning Advanced Foot Orthotics.
