Nice Win for the Preds!
The Minor Bantam Predators faced off against the Barrie Colts on Saturday in front of an enthusiastic crowd of family and friends. Game summary is provided by Nic L, noting that the game did not start as the Preds hoped, with Barrie scoring first. The lead didn't last long however, as the Preds answered back before the end of the first period.
There was lots of action in the second period and penalties on both sides but the Preds dug deep and took the lead. Both teams continued to battle in the third before a power play goal put the Preds in front to stay. Penalties were taken by both sides and Barrie pulled their goalie before an empty netter allowed the Preds to finish the game with a 5-2 win. Nic noted that the Minor Bantams played well by getting the puck out and keeping it in Barrie's zone most of the game. There were lots of scoring chances leading to the win.
