- Born in 1996.
- Jake was drafted in the OHL draft April 7, 2012, 7th in the 7th round by the Oshawa Generals. Jake started playing hockey in Coldwater Tyke with some of his teammates from this years' Minor Midget team (Lawlor and Shaw) and moved to Midland for Novice. In his Minor Atom and Major Atom years, Jake played with the Barrie Colts AAA hockey teams and then joined the North Central Predators in Minor Peewee, playing with the organization through to Minor Midget.
- After playing one year with the Midland Flyers Junior C club in the GMOHL, Jake returned to Oshawa Generals training camp and cracked the lineup for the 2013-14 season as a right winger.
- Jake was ranked #120 in the NHL CSS 2014 North America midterm rankings (Februray 2014)
