October starts off with 3 points
The Preds are starting to show the rest of the league that they will not be taken lightly. After a big win at C.O.W. the Colts and Express were next on the schedule.
The month started with a mid week game in Gravenhurst to play the Barrie Colts.
The Colts got an early lead, but the predators battled every period gaining momentum.
With some great rushes from the defence and some solid team play they were able to match Barrie goal for goal. A never say die attitude keep the team in the game when they were down by a goal or two. The game ended 4-4 with the preds getting stronger as the game progressed .
Sunday saw the York Simcoe Express come to Rama trying to slow down the preds attack. From the drop of the puck both teams displayed toughness and speed. Each period had numerous scoring chances and heads up play. In third period the preds got on the score board with a mighty blast from the point which eluded the express tender with a deflection from a forward screening the goalie. The preds won the game 1-0. This is the teams first shut out of the regular season, great job by all.
