The weekend saw the team play, Clarington Toros' on Saturday losing 3-2 in a last minute goal. On Sunday the Kingston Jr Frontenacs came to Rama fresh from getting there first win the previous night looking to make it two in a row.
With every game the boys play the staff is looking for each player to improve and identify the positive things they do and also recognize the mistakes they make and work on those weaknesses.
During Saturdays game the "Good" was they scored two goals and although being penalized 16 times they were still tied late in the third. The "Bad and the Ugly was they were penalized 16 MIN, and as the coaching staff has reminded the boys often its difficult to win when they are short handed.
On Sunday Kingston came to Rama fresh from playing the Colts the night before and picking up there first win.
As the Preds' took to the ice the team looked focused and ready to prove that they had took the positive from the day before, scoring two goals against a determined Clairington group and had learned from the Bad/Ugly.
With a lead late in the game the team played a very disciplined smart game frustrating the Frontenacs' defeating them 2-1
As the staff has reminded the team, with every game they are to learn from it and use it going forward. Sunday was a great example of learning from the past.
