2003 RYH AAA Invitational Tournament "Stars" Champions
The Best Western Mariposa Inn Minor Peewee Predators travelled to Rochester this past weekend to compete in the 2003 RYH AAA Invitational tournament.

They opened their tournament Friday with a 5-0 win over the Amherst Knights.  In their second game they faced off against the Long Island Royals and skated away with a 6-2 victory.

In game 3 on Saturday, the Preds outplayed the TNT Tornados and came out with a 7-2 win and secured a spot in the Stars semi-final.

In the semi’s they out matched the New York Saints winning 5-2 and earning their berth in the Stars Championship Final. The championship final had the NCP 2003's competing against the Pittsburgh Predators.

In the final, NCP edged out the Pittsburgh team with a 2-1 victory to claim the Stars championship trophy.

Congratulations to the Minor Peewee’s on a total team effort, with every member contributing to the team 5-0 record at the tournament. It was a great weekend getaway for the players and coaching staff and Preds families who were able to come cheer the boys on.
