Pre-Season Wraps Up
The first month of hockey is already over and the NCP Peewees have started the year off positively.
Exhibition games see the team with a 2 and 1 record. Winning 2 games over North Bay and then a disappointing loss to the Wolves.
We then headed to the Ottawa Senators September AAA Shootout.
Our winning ways continued with solid wins over Ottawa Valley, Ajax Pickering and Huron Perth. We then faced a very tough team in the Eastern Ontario Wild and came up short with a 4-0 loss.
This still left us first in our pool heading into Sunday where we were to face North Bay. Unfortunately it was not to be, losing 4-2 in the semi-finals.
With the pre-season over we head into the regular season with our home opener this Saturday at Rama, 3:45pm vs Ajax-Pickering Raiders.
