Canadians Cup
Our second tournament or the year had the boys heading to Toronto for the weekend to the Canadians Cup. A tournament featuring some of the top teams in both Canada and the USA.
Game #1: This game the boys knew they were in tough facing the #1 south of the border in the Syracuse Nationals. The opposition and incredible puck control and great passing and proved to be more the Preds could overcome. Final Score 4-2
Game #2: The boys had many chances in the match up against the Don Mills Flyers but unfortunately could not capitalize against a very agressive team. Final Score 3-0
Game #3: Saturday morning saw the team facing the Brampton 45's with hopes of starting the day off with a win. This was another close fought battle with our team able to come out on top. Final Score 3-1
Game #4: This was another very close game against a quick and determined team from Nickel City, but again the Preds would capitalize after many chances and ended up on the losing side of this one. Final Score 2-0
Silver Lining .... the eventual winner was our first game opponent the Syracuse Nationals who ended up crushing the Mississauga Rebels 9-2 in the final.
