ETA Playoffs - Game #4 vs. Richmond Hill Coyotes.
The Preds were back home on Saturday February 28th, looking to finish off the Richmond Hill Coyotes and move on the the second round of the ETA playoffs.
The boys got off to a strong start when a shot from Daniel Frangione bounced in off Kobe Roe who was driving hard to the net. After that, the game got pretty chippy and the multiple penalties called seemed to interupt the nice flow the Preds had going early. Richmond Hill fought back with two in the second to take a lead into the intermission. Another steady flow of penalty calls in the third slowed the game to a crawl but both teams were able to generate some great chances on the powerplay. Brandon Small turned away everything thrown at him and the Coyotes goalie did the same at the other end. With the Preds goalie pulled in the third, Richmond Hill was able to put the final nail in the coffin with an empty netter in the last minute.
The deciding fifth game will be played in Richmond Hill on Sunday March 1.
