Kelsey's Minor Midget North Central Predators take the series against the Barrie Colts in round 1 of OMHA playoffs
It was a hard fought exciting series that went to 6 games in a 5 game
series. It came down to 1 game played on February 23, 2015 in Rama.
The arena was packed to watch these 2 rival teams play the 6th and final game in the series. After 3 periods of play the score was tied 4-4, goals scored by #6 Billson, #43 Shearer, #11 Z. Tupker, #7 Heitzner. Assists going to #8 Bell, #15 Baker, #22 Paulsen, #4 Scott. With almost 2 overtime periods of play #15 Baker found the back of the net with the game winner resulting in a 5-4 win over the Barrie Colts to win the series. #34 Luke Richardson was between the pipes, Luke faced numerous shots making some incredible saves to keep the boys in the game. It was a real team effort and a huge accomplishment for North Central's Minor Midgets. North Central will now move on to the second round of OMHA playoffs to play the Quinte Red Devils.
