NCP Bantam vs. York Simcoe Express
After facing the Ajax/Pickering Raiders on Sunday a quick turn around found the Preds facing the York Simcoe Express on Monday October 19.
With the Predators playing with only 12 skaters for most of the game the tough Express team managed to wear down a determined Predator lineup. The game stayed close until the midway point when the Express went out to a 3-1 lead. The third period was more of the same with YSE extending their lead to 5-1, the Preds showed some life when Eric Moreau wired a slap shot past the Express goalie to make it a 5-2 game, unfortunately that was all the Preds could muster on this occasion. The coaches were happy with the level of competitiveness that the boys showed despite the tough schedule.
