The
Mclean & Dickey Insurance Major Bantam Predators have momentum as they
begin to heat up going through the cool days of October.
Coming off a successful run through the London Jr. Knights tournament the Preds have found their scoring touch.
Going 4-0 in their last 4 games through October the missing piece seems to be in place now as the goals start to pile up. To kick off the 4 game winning streak the Preds notched 6 goals and coasted to a 6-3 win over the Petes. Next they moved on to the York Simcoe Express and, with a short bench, were able to hold on for a 3-1 victory. The following weekend both games were played at home and the Preds beat the Coyotes 5-1 on Saturday and the Waxers 8-0 on Sunday. With 22 goals in 4 games the team seems to be back on track.
Closing out October the Preds hope to continue their scoring ways as they play the Wolves and the Toros.
October has proven to be the month where the team has turned the momentum around after a slow start. With lots of Hustle and Heart there should be no reason the winning ways should not continue into November.
