Important Win at Home
The Minor Bantam North Central Predators faced stiff competition at home last weekend. On Saturday the team notched a win versus the Clarington Toros and game notes are provided by Brinn B. After a slow start the Predators played a physical game with solid checking. They took advantage of power play opportunities and were able to put in an empty net goal for an important two points.
The Preds came out hard again on Sunday against Kingston but came up short of a win, game notes by Ben D. The power play effort was strong again but had trouble scoring. Positives were nice shots from the defence and traffic in front of Kingston's goalie. The team will work on taking fewer penalties and tying up sticks in front of the net.
Next up for the Minor Bantams is another home contest versus Barrie. Come on out on Saturday and support the team as they recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
