Staying Motivated
The Minor Bantams were home on December 3 to face a determined Oshawa Generals team.  Nolan B. summarized the game by noticing that we had a good fore check and net drive.  Areas to improve include getting the puck out of the defensive zone and keeping the puck in the offensive zone.  The team's efforts to  communicate with each other on the ice and to motivate each other are developing.

On December 9 the Minor Bantams traveled to St. Andrews to face off with YSE.  Game notes are provided by Brady M. who noted that the game was played well overall;  the Preds' energy level was good for 30 minutes, with good penalty killing and good scoring opportunities.  Notes to work on include playing hard for the full 45 minutes and playing better as a team.

The Preds were on the road again on December 10 to take on the Raiders.  Game summary is provided by Christian C.  The game began with everyone working hard right at the start and we were rewarded with getting the first goal.  Unfortunately the goal was called back and we need to work on staying motivated and focused when things like this happen.  Christian noticed that on the ice we need to work on taking away time and space from the opponents.  We can do this by keeping our feet moving and finishing our checks.

The opportunity for a rematch with YSE at home was foiled by inclement weather on December 12. The Minor Bantams will be on the road again for two more games before breaking for Christmas.
