Minor Bantams rewarded for determination!
A determined Minor Bantam team hit the ice on Saturday January 20, after falling just short in Richmond Hill last weekend. Their hard work and determination paid off in the rematch with an exciting 4-3 win at home! A summary of the action was prepared by Sam T. In spite of solid play, the Preds fell behind by 2 goals in the first period.
Undeterred, the team came back with 2 goals in the second period to tie it up before the intermission. Early in the third period Richmond Hill took the lead back but again the Preds continued to battle. The score was tied once again and both teams killed penalties before the Preds were able to score on the power play to retake the lead and hold on for the win, an important 2 points gained at home.
