January 5/19 game vs Ajax

The '04 NCP boys played Ajax on Jan5/19. The team competed hard for most of the game. Ajax scored halfway through the first followed by a quick goal by NCP to tie it up. Starting the second period, the score was still tied 1-1. Throughout the second, both teams were playing well and had chances at both ends. Early in the third, NCP took a penalty which allowed Ajax to capitalize, going ahead 2-1. Shortly after that, Matt Green blocked a slapshot from the point, leaving the game with an injury. Ajax again capitalized midway through the third to go ahead 3-1.
NCP kept the pressure up and created many chances right up until the final buzzer. Unfortunately, NCP couldn't make their come back. Final score Ajax 3-NCP 1.
