Food Drive for the Sharing Place
The North Central Predators AAA minor atoms decided to organize and run a food drive Saturday morning Nov 23rd. In small groups they went to 4 different grocery stores No Frills, Foodland, Zehrs, and Food Basics asking for food donations to contribute to the Sharing Place in Orillia.
The community responded in a BIG way with cash and donations of non-perishable food. It was great to see the boys giving back to the community and they had a great time doing it. In the end after everything was all dropped off $1,095 was collected in monetary donations and 1,196 pounds of food was also gathered for The Sharing Place.
