First Tournament Of The Season For The Minor Peewee Team
Our 2008 North Central Predators packed their gear and headed for Peterborough this weekend. The NCP Minor Peewee's opened up the tournament in game 1 on Friday September 13, 2019 against the Peterborough Petes. It was with great efforts and strong will, the Predators walked away with a tough loss 1-0. A determined team continued to battle strong that afternoon against the Ottawa Valley Silver Seven with a close score of 4-3 giving Ottawa the win. The boys came prepared to play again on Saturday against the Waterloo Wolves with an exciting game of ups and downs but Waterloo took the W with a 5-2 score. That afternoon the Brantford 99ers played a great game against the Predators and the 99ers walked away with the 3-0 score. Over all it was a great weekend away with our hockey family. The team continued to focus on team spirit, support, integrity, inspirations and visions despite the end scores. These Predators are ready to hit the ice again on Monday to practice and work hard on skills and drills in preparation for this up and coming weekend home game for their regular season.
