OMHA Playdowns Game One
Predators traveled to Fenelon Falls Saturday February 15, 2020 to face the mighty Central Ontario Wolves.
The boys have been working very hard on individual skills and team synergy in preparation for their playdowns, it certainly reflected their performance today as they dominated the ice.
The competition was tight in the first period, however Predators made the first point on the board with a 1-0 lead against the Wolves.
The Wolves were able to advance 2-1, but with quick hands and sharp thinking. Predators were able to even up the score 2-2 with a short handed goal by the end of the second period. At this point this game could go either way, fans anxiously sat at the edge of their seats.
Predators entered the third period with tightened laces, and fire in their blood. The bench was full of spirit and positive energy. The talent of these dangerous snipers took the lead with awesome fore-checking, precise passing, dominating defense, excellent goal-tending, and a rocket from the point that granted a 5-2 victory.
As the boys ramp up for an epic battle tomorrow against the Wolves, this should be an excellent confidence builder in an attempt to take home more wins in their playdowns.
