Spencer Green was drafted by the Kingston Frontenacs.
Spencer Green, a member of the 2009-2010 North Central Minor Midget AAA Predators, and a 4 year career NC Predator, took the next step in his hockey evolution, being drafted 150th overall in the 8th round by the OHL Kingston Frontenacs.
Spencer’s 2009-2010 season was severely shortened due to a broken collar bone on Dec 4th, 2009. He returned for 2 weeks in mid-January 2010, but too early, reinjuring the collar bone and ending his season. Spencer played in 35 games and potted 20 goals and counted 23 assists during those mostly early-season games, yet was still able to end the season as the team’s point leader.
Spencer is anxious to show the Frontenacs that his injury is in the past and that he is ready to display his skills and playmaking abilities. Spencer is an effective two way player, but excels in the offensive end. As a very unselfish player he is just as happy to set up a teammate as he is to score himself.
