Predator Drafted
Mitch Eden was drafted by the Oshawa Generals.

Mitch Eden, a member of the North Central Predators Hockey Association for the past 5 seasons, who played with the Minor Midget team during this past season, was drafted in the 3rd round — 58th overall — by the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League.

Mitch is an offensive-minded defenceman who also takes pride in patrolling his own end of the ice. This quality made him an attractive commodity to the Generals. During Mitch’s years with the Predators he has been captain for 3 of his 5 years, which is a testament of his strong leadership and team building skills.

Since the OHL priority draft, Mitch has had a very busy spring, successfully competing in 3 U-17 evaluation camps for Team Ontario. Mitch is eager to show the Oshawa Generals what he is capable of this fall, but he not ruling out his other options, as he has received interest from schools south of the border.
