Predator Alumni Jonathon O'Hara Commits to Mercyhurst University

Congratulations to Jonathon O'Hara, a NCP Alumni who has committed to join the NCAA Mercyhurst University Lakers beginning with the 2015-16 Altantic Hockey season.  Hailing from Penetanguishene, Jonathon played as a defenseman for the Predators in his Minor Midget season in 2010-11, then moved on to play for his hometown junior club, the Penetang Kings in the GMOHL.  O'Hara as signed by the Whitby Fury in the OJHL league 2012-13 and has played a solid game ever since.     

Over the past season and a half with the Fury, Jonathon has notched 4 goals and 23 assists as a defenseman. Showing as a player with speed and strength on the blue line, the six-foot O'Hara was invited to the Canada East Selection Camp, where he showed the recruiters he had what they were looking for at Mercyhurst in the NCAA. 

Congratualtions to Jonathon O'Hara on his success and bright future ahead of him in hockey!
