The 'Respect in Hockey' initiative will require all Team Officials On-ice Volunteers, On-Ice Officials and Parents to take the appropriate 'Respect' education.  At least one parent or guardian of each player registered in minor hockey in the OMHA will be required to complete the Respect in Sport - Parent Program as a condition of participation.  The one hour online course is a proactive, educational program that empowers parents with the tool to ensure the game is enjoyable and respectful for themselves, their children and all other stakeholders in the game.

Completion of the Respect in Sport 'parent program' for at least one parent/guardian of each family of every registered player under the age of 18 shall be a condition of their eligibility for participation for the 2014-15 season.  The cost for the parent program is $ 12.00 per family, payable online.  One parent certified per family and other parent, step parents, grandparents, kids etc. can take the program for free by using certified parent username and password.

Compliance deadline for taking the program is August 31, 2014. IF NOT COMPLETED, YOUR CHILD CANNOT BE ROSTERED FOR THE 2014-15 SEASON!

When starting the Respect in Sport online program, you must REGISTER NEW USER
Zone is North Central Ontario and there is NO Pre-registration Code for you to enter.

You will register yourself first and then can add any of your children involved in Minor Hockey.

Be aware that the site is a little slow and will sometimes get stuck between screens. You may find that you have to reload the page or go back to get it moving again. (It took me about 1 hour 20 minutes to complete!) The up side of things is you get to print out your own certificate to make it official - sorry I am not providing frames to put them in for everyone!
