Minor Midget Team Plays Sledge Hockey

The Minor Midget Predators participated in the 1st Annual Sunshine Sledge Hockey Tournament to raise awareness for the Elmvale Bears developmental sledge hockey team.  

Sponsors were the Geneva Charity Bingo, Effigy Design, Georgian College,Back to Function & the North Central Predators.

The games were played at the Rotary Place (100 University Ave, Orillia) on Thursday, November 20th.  Proceeds to this tournament ($2600 raised!) went directly to the Elmvale Bears Junior Development Team, giving individuals with physical and intellectual disability the chance to play an organized sport, make friends and be active. 

The boys were able to try out their skills at sledge hockey, while helping out a great cause!  The North Central Preadtors Hockey Association and the Minor Midget Team was honoured to be included in the event!
