NCP Major Peewees Win First Round of OMHA Playoffs!!
Submitted By waitk on Saturday, March 5, 2016
The Montana's Orillia Predators won their first round of the OMHA playoffs vs the #1 ranked Richmond Hill Coyotes.

Game 1 was in Richmond Hill and the Preds won 3-0 over the Coyotes. After we had our start pushed back by a few days, the boys were raring to go and it paid off.  Game 2 was on home turf and after an overtime period, the game ended in a 3-3 tie.  Game 3 back down in Richmond Hill ended in a loss in overtime.  The Preds fell 3-2 to the Coyotes. Game 4 at home in another thrilling overtime game, we ended in a 2-2 tie. Game 5 can seal the series with a win but the battle continues and once again, we need overtime to decide this game. In such a tight series, we end in a 3-3 tie once again! So back at home for a game 6.  Wow it was tight and was just as exciting as the other games in this epic series!  The Preds got a power play goal for the lead of 1-0 and just never gave that up.  It was an exciting game back and forth and it was down to the wire with Richmond Hill giving it their all.  The Preds worked hard, and did everything it took to win the biggest game in their Preds history!!

Preds are now moving on to the Peterborough Petes in round 2!!!
