Submitted By JenR on Sunday, April 24, 2016
Congratulations go out to five players from the 2015-16 Minor Midget North Central Predators team who were drafted in the OHL Priority Selection Draft this spring.

After participating in the Youth Olympics in Norway in February and being named the Ontario Minor Hockey Association Eastern AAA Player of the Year, Aidan Dudas, of Parry Sound, was drafted 10th overall to the Owen Sound Attack, becoming the highest drafted player in Predators history.

Over the season, hard work & skill of four of Aidan's teammates, also caught the eyes of OHL scouts. Center Patrick Brown, of Midland, went to the North Bay Battalion 134th overall.  Isaac Emon, of Orillia was drafted by the Peterborough Petes 149th, while Mitchell Pellarin, of Orillia, was selected by the Oshawa Generals 207th and Aidan Graham, also of Orillia was drafted 219th to the Kingston Frontenacs.

Dudas & Emon have also been selected to play in the U16 OHL Gold Cup in Kitchener, Ontario, May 4th-8th.

All of the boys will report to their respective OHL rookie camps in the upcoming months and try to crack the line-ups. The North Central Predators Organization wishes them all congratulations and the best of luck as they move forward with their hockey careers.
