Rogers Hometown Hockey was AWESOME!
Submitted By mfogarty on Monday, November 6, 2017
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those in attendance at the Rogers Scotiabank Hometown Hockey festivities this weekend.

Our North Central Predators were well represented throughout the event - it was a sea of navy jerseys participating in the parade of Champions last night. Congratulations to Noah Quarrington who was chosen to represent our organization in helping to announce the three stars of the Habs vs Blackhawks NHL game on national TV!!

Opportunities such as this event are truly a special occasion and it was so nice to see our players, parents and siblings enjoying hockey-related events outside of the arena.

A very special thank you to this parents who volunteered their time to support the BBQ - special thanks to our 2003 Major Bantam Team who had over 15 parents help!  The funds raised will be shared amongst local chapters of The Food Bank and The Special Olympics.

I know we had a busy weekend with our own hockey games and life in general, and in addition many of our families travel and hour to Rama/Orillia for hockey sometimes up to four times a week - but your support, spirit and enthusiasm for our organization and this great game of hockey, was really felt this weekend.

On behalf of the NCP Executive, I just wanted to say thank you and express how proud I was of our organization and our Preds players’ participation.
