NCP/Rama First Nation.....A Great Partnership!
Our Predator teams were happy to make filling their carts a holiday team goal! NCP President Roger Crandell and U-14 head coach Mark McGrath were on hand Wednesday evening at the MASK to present Chief Ted Williams of Rama First Nation 1000's of food items and hygiene products for the local food bank. President Crandell stated, "we have always had a strong relationship with Rama First Nation. Our Predator organization is appreciative to be able to call the MASK our home and are happy to support local families in need through the food bank."

U-14 head coach Mark McGrath believes it is important for his hockey players to give back....especially during the holiday season. "I have always had my teams get involved in a project that allows kids to help others. There are many lessons kids can learn through the game of hockey....giving back is one of them" explained McGrath.

Approximately 3 weeks ago, our U-14 club challenged all our organization's 8 teams to each fill a shopping cart, generously loaned to us by Darren Wolfe of COSTCO. Our teams and their families responded in a BIG way. Each of the 8 carts were overflowing when Chief Williams accepted the food and hygiene items Wednesday night.

Chief Williams thanked President Crandell and Coach McGrath and shared, "we appreciate the support this food drive represents. Our community and the Predators have always had a strong partnership....each helping the other. Miigwech."

The North Central Predators would like to thank all its families, visiting teams and of course, our 140 players for lending a helping hand to those in need....the true spirit of Christmas.
