Predator Alumnus Connor Punnett Signs NHL Deal!
NCP 2003 birth year defenseman Connor Punnett continues to turn heads as an exciting new door has opened for the 20 year old defenseman from Powassan. The Dallas Stars have recently signed Connor to an entry level contract with their NHL team!

The tough rearguard has been having an outstanding overage season beginning the year as captain of the Barrie Colts and then traded for by the Oshawa Generals to help them pursue the Memorial Cup. Connor has put up 50 points in 59 games this season while delivering a tough brand of hockey from the blueline.

Connor is no stranger to success on the ice having led our 2003 birthyear NCP club to appearances in the Bantam AAA OHF Championships and then in his U-16 year to the OHL Cup tournament. Connor was then drafted by the Saginaw Spirit in the first round of the 2019 OHL Priority Selection. In 240 games played between Saginaw, Barrie and Oshawa, Connor has produced 30 goals and 85 assists while providing each of his clubs with leadership and toughness.

Our NCP organization would like to wish Connor all the best in the upcoming OHL playoffs and in the coming years with the Dallas Stars organization!
