Buchanan to Lead Preds' U15 Club
The Executive of the North Central Predators are pleased to announce that Greg Buchanan has been named head coach of our U15 club. NCP president Roger Crandell comments, "we have hired a young and hungry hockey man who has a two year plan to build this age into a competitive club for their draft year. Greg has played the game at a high level and has recently lead a PJHL club as both General Manager and Head Coach. Greg's reputation is that of a builder. We are confident that he will lead this team up the standings."
Greg has been involved in hockey for over 20 years. He has played at all levels of junior hockey across the eastern seaboard and captured a Junior A USA championship. He has trained with hockey minds Graeme Townshend (Maple Leafs Skating Coach) and Scott Thornton (NHL player and Cross Fit guru).
Greg is hungry to bring his playing, coaching and managing skills to the Preds' U15 club. We look forward to seeing his hard work in action. Buchanan states, "I can't wait to get started with the NCP organization! I have a two year plan to build this group into a hard working, competitive team that will be very hard to play against. With my experience playing, coaching and managing a junior hockey, I know how to develop kids for their draft year and to play junior level. We will work hard and have fun as we move forward."
Greg will be joined on the bench by Norm McIIveen. Norm brings over 20 years of coaching experience with him to the bench. He has played junior B and A hockey, and coached at all levels of minor and junior hockey. He has won titles in the OMHA and MTHL and has seen the game as a referee in the MTHL. Norm and Greg have worked together previously and look forward to reconnecting on the U15 Preds' club.
Go Preds Go!!
