Minor Bantam, Bantam, 2013-2014 (North Central Predators AAA)

Following up a successful run to the quarter finals at the Whitby Silver Stick in November, the Minor Bantam team ended 2013 competing against top teams at the Toronto Marlboro International Holiday Classic tournament, making it to the semi-finals out of a pool of 38 teams.  The boys worked hard at both of these tournaments, which pitted them up against high ranking teams from Ontario and the United States.  

The boys are proving that they have what it takes to compete with the best teams at the start the season!!   After an amazing early bird tournament, the boys met up with the 2012-13 OMHA Champions, York Simcoe Express in their first weekend of regular season play, splitting their games with a 4-3 win and a 5-6 loss.  The boys played as a unit and competed hard, showing the Express that they were up for the challenge! 

Congratulations to the boys for an unbelievable start to the 2013-14 season after becoming the Toronto Red Wings Early Bird Minor Bantam Consolation Champions this past weekend!  After beating the Windsor Jr. Spitfires 2-1 in overtime early Sunday morning, the team went on to shut out the Whitby Wildcats 5-0 in the semi-final match. The team then took on the Ottawa Valley Titans in the finals in a tight match that ended with the Predators winning with a final score of 5-4.  Way to work boys!
