On Sunday Nov 22nd the Kelsey's Orillia North Central Minor
Midget AAA team travelled home from Kingston after suffering 2 losses on their
eastern road trip. The Predators season
record at that time was 10 wins 7 losses and 1 tie. In the 9 weeks since that weekend the North
Central Predators finished up their ETA season play by playing their last 16
games with a record of 14 wins 1 loss and 1 tie.
The loss being to the #1 ranked York Simcoe Express and the single point taken by the top ranked Barrie Colts team. The Predators finished the season with 50 points and finished second in the ETA West standings. The Predators were second in league scoring with 166 goals (YSE-200), 3rd in least goals against with 72(Barrie-54,YSE-57) and 2nd in Winning % in the ETA with .735 (YSE .824). The Predators team consisting of forwards Patrick Brown, Derek Sweeney, Isaac Emon, Nathan Smilsky, Zach Berriault, Casey Stevens, Aidan Dudas, Ethan Priaulx, Mitchell Pellarin, Defencemen ,Tyler Gysbers, Jake Smith, Nathan Balkwill, Taylor Stinson, Aidan Graham, Patrick Musico and goaltender Jared Towns has continuously improved throughout the season. The team looks to continue their winning ways when they head into the OMHA playdowns where they will face their arch rivals, the Barrie Colts. Game 1 of this series will be played in RAMA on Tuesday Feb 2nd at 8pm.
