Kitchener Blueline Tournament
Submitted By Adam Schapp on Sunday, November 10, 2019
Thank you to Logan Shannon for writing an article about our weekend in Kitchener.

The NCP Minor Bantam AAA squad took part in the Kitchener Blueline Tournament this past weekend.

They started the tournament off strong by beating Sault Ste.Marie 1-0.
In the second game the boys played Waterloo where they were caught off guard ending up in a 2-2 draw.

The next morning the boys faced the Guelph Gryphons scoring early on to take a 1-0 lead. However, despite their first period success, they could not hold on as they ended up losing 2-1.

The final game was against their league rival, the Oshawa Generals.  The boys came out flying with an early 2-0 lead.  They pushed hard throughout the game to take 4-0 win.

Despite their effort, the boys didn’t end up making it to the semi’s but enjoyed some team bonding back at the hotel!

The boys had a great tournament and  are fired up for next weekend for the Kingston and Quinte road trip!

Great weekend Boyz!

Logan Shannon
