U16 Preds start the Season
The U16 Preds have had an event filled pre-season and started with a pair of games on their first weekend.
Following a pre-season which featured 3 exhibition games and a team building bbq and camp out for a night, the team continued jumped right into a pair of games over the first weekend of the season.
The Home opener against Oshawa saw a high scoring affair and some hard hits, as the team came out with a 9-4 victory. On Sunday afternoon, the team travelled to Clarington for an afternoon game. This game went back and forth, as the Preds could not build more than a 1 goal lead, and eventually settled with a 4-4 tie.
The players will continue to work hard this week at practice, and build upon team play as they get back into game action on Sunday afternoon with a road trip to Quinte.
