U-13 NCP AAA, 2022-2023 NCP Season (North Central Predators AAA)

The NCP U13 group of young athletes are proving once again, that they are committed to the many lessons to be learned both on and off the ice.    Back in October, Coach Chris applied to be considered for The Orange Jersey Project.  This educational initiative is part of the larger goal of Truth and Reconciliation, and the U13 NCP team was selected with others across Canada. The team wears the jerseys once a month at practice, and during those practices, they engage in meaningful conversation about why we are wearing them.

You may have noticed the Costco grocery carts in the lobby at our home rink in Rama, Ontario.  Our U10 through U18 teams are challenging each other to "fill the cart" to support the Manna Food Bank over the holiday season.  Our U13 team would like to thank not only family and friends for their support, but also our fellow ETA families that have contributed to this great cause.   If you are thinking of taking in a AAA hockey game this weekend in Rama, please bring a non-perishable food item with you to help all the carts overflow!

NCP’s U13 team recently attended a Belleville Senators AHL game to cheer in the home team featuring Predators alumni Philippe Daoust!  The U13 team were invited to watch the game warm-up from the home team’s bench to see these Pros up close.  

As these young players develop in the game of hockey and in life, they understand nothing worth having, comes easy. Their work ethic, commitment, and courage to compete against the very best talent in the province is a clear sign that these young men are moving in the right direction to find future success in any endeavor they choose.

2022-23 Season (U13) Returning for my 4th year with the North Central Predators Organization, I am excited to know that our areas most talented hockey players are ready to rise to the challenge and compete at the highest level, against the best players in the province.
