Minor PeeWee, PeeWee, 2014-2015 (North Central Predators AAA)

What a great series vs the Barrie Colts!  After being up in the series 2-0 the Barrie Colts were not giving up and leaving anything on the table...and our boys were up for the challenge!!  We played hard and gave it all we had!  The loss of the series doesn't reflect how hard our boys played and fought to win!! Congratulations to the team for their sportsmanship and effort!! Feel the loss tonight boys but tomorrow let's turn our attention to our next challenge, YSE!!

The Best Western Mariposa Predators have clinched an OMHA playoff spot!  For the first time, the 2003 Predator team has secured a spot in the OMHAs. It came down to our last game vs Central Ontario Wolves to secure 3rd place and the boys pulled off a 5-1 win to ensure our placement.  We will be encountering the Barrie Colts in the first round. Let's make it another first with a first round victory!  Go Preds Go!!

Congratulations to Dave Bressette for being selected as next season's coach!  Looking forward to finishing strong this season!

Our team is performing well and since January our record is 4-1-2.  This past weekend we were able to pull off another win vs Ajax Raiders which we have been very successful against this season and we also had a big win vs Barrie Colts on Sunday. They were both great competitive games! With only 3 games left in our regular season, we are looking for a perfect record to guarantee a spot in the OMHAs. Let's finish strong Preds!

The Best Western Mariposa Preds had a great weekend in Belleville at the Quinte Red Devils Tourament. We lost in the 'A' division semi finals vs the Gloucester Rangers who went on to win the tournament.  The boys played hard with a shortened bench due to injury and illness.  We finished the weekend with a 2-2-1 record. The team is coming together well and we are looking forward to hopefully having a couple players back soon! The team was also able to take a tour of the Belleville Bulls locker room and management area and we also took in a great game between the Bulls and the Erie Otters.
