League Game # 3 vs. Richmond Hill Coyotes
The Preds got a second crack at the Richmond Hill Coyotes at home in Rama on October 4th.
The boys got off to a great start and put lots of pressure on the Coyotes goalie early. We were rewarded with a power play and were able to capitalize when Kobe Roe scored from Nick Holenski and Will Prentice. The team continued to pour on the pressure and had several more great chances in the period.
The team started the second with some great jump but got into penalty trouble which killed the momentum. The Coyotes were able to take the advantage and despite some heroic penalty killing and some great saves by Brandon Small, managed to pour in three goals before the end of the period.
More penalty trouble in the third allowed the Coyotes to keep the pressure on and chip in another couple of goals for a 5-1 final. Next up for the Preds is a home game vs. Kingston on October 5th.
The team would like to wish Brad Brown a speedy recovery from his injury.
