ETA Playoffs Game #2 vs. Richmond Hill Coyotes
The Preds welcomed the Richmond Hill Coyotes to Rama for game two of their best of five, first round matchup on February 22nd.
The Coyotes seemed determined to avenge the 7-1 spanking they suffered at the hands of the Preds in game one. They came out on a mission and despite some nice goaltending from Brandon Small, were able to pull out to a 3-0 lead after two periods. Whatever the coaches said to the boys in the intermission seemed to work and the Preds chipped away at the Coyotes lead in the third. Goals by Jacob Partridge, Travis Sawyer and another by Kobe Roe tied the game at the game at three in the dying minutes. With the game destined for overtime, the Coyotes pushed for one last chance and were rewarded when they were able to bang one in with less than a second left on the clock. Despite the heartbreaking loss, the Preds showed great resiliance in battling back in the third and it looks like we could be in for a long, hard fought series. Picking up assists in the losing cause for the Preds were Kobe Roe, Bo Prentice, Calan Tanzi-Foshay, Will Prentice and Travis Sawyer with two.
Game three is set for Thursday February 26th in Richmond Hill and the boys are back in Rama on Saturday February 28th for game four.
