The Season Begins...
Our Atoms faced off for the first time this season in an exhibition game against COW in Midland. The boys were excited to put on their new gear and represent NCOHA as the newest and youngest Preds.
Puck dropped and the Preds came out strong and snapped one low right side 45 seconds into the first period. The Wolves continued to press, but the Preds strengthened their lead with another top corner floater at the half way mark of the first. The Wolves picked up the pace and capitalized on Pred penalties and it was all tied it up after 15 mins. An evenly matched tug of war continued through the second and third. The Preds went up 4-3 with 5 mins left in the last period, but a turnover in front of the Preds net caused the tying goal with just over a minute left in the game.
Great effort from each and every player and a positive start to the 2015-2016 season. GO PREDS GO!
