Six Game Wrap Up

The Montana's Cookhouse Minor Bantam Predators are continuing their winning record with 6 regular league games over the last few weeks.

Our first game coming off of our tournament in Buffalo was the York Simcoe Express for our first meeting of the season.  Historically, YSE has always been a battle for our team and in our first game against each other this season, the Preds came out on top with a 3-1 victory.

The Preds then travelled to Lindsay to take on the Central Ontario Wolves who have been having their best season ever.  This was a fast game and the Preds played a large chunk of the 3rd period shorthanded but pulled out a 2-0 win.

On Halloween, the Preds travelled to Markham to take on the Waxers and unfortunately lost 5-2. This was already our 3rd game vs the Waxers this season and we were 1-1. They have been a team that we seem to battle very hard against this season with mixed results.

We had a successful home weekend vs both the Ajax Raiders and the Kingston Fontenacs.  Pulling out a 4-2 win over Ajax and a 5-0 win vs Kingston which was a very rough game flurried with penalties.

The Preds league record as of now is 11-3-1 which is by far our best start ever in our team history.  We are hoping that we can keep the momentum going throughout the remainder of the season.
