Gloria Rints International Silver Stick
The Montana's Cookhouse Minor Bantam Predators travelled to Whitby for the Gloria Rints International Silver Stick last weekend to compete against the best of the best. The status of the participating teams was impressive.
The Predators didn't have the results that they were hoping for but with a 1-3 record however the scoreboard didn't indicate how hard the Preds played and how well they performed.
The Preds fell 4-1 to the Ottawa Senators however the game was 2-1 until the last 4 minutes. The Preds played well and hung tight with the highly ranked Sens.
In game 2 of the tournament, the Preds came out on top vs the Burlington Eagles. After a slow start, the Preds pulled out a 5-2 win.
On Saturday the boys took on Detroit Victory Honda and lost 4-3. This was a close game with a lot of back and forth plays.
The New Jersey Colonials proved to be too much for the Preds in their 4th game and the boys just couldn't get anything going.
