After
7 games in the regular season and 2 tournaments under our belt it’s becoming
clear that the NCP 2nd Century Source for Sports Major Peewee
team can compete with anyone in the league.
Goal tending has been strong and has demonstrated shut down potential. All the new faces are now starting to become familiar with each other on the ice to show the chemistry that will be required to win.
The best team quality the boys have demonstrated is their desire to compete which was most evident in the game this past weekend against the York Simcoe Express while they trailed most of the game they were able to tie the game up in the last part of the third period. This will surely result in more points in the win column as the season moves closer to playoffs.
The NCP 2nd Century Source for Sports Major Peewees finished 2-2 at the Markham Fall Classic tournament in which their two wins were gritty performances and they two losses demonstrated that we will need speed and hard work to win consistently not just skill and luck.
GO PREDS GO!
