What a year these boys have had! Through the ups...and through the many downs these young men have faced over this past hockey year, they continued to play hard, held their heads high and played with integrity. I must say, I am not sure I have met such a group, who continued to fight back, work so hard and come up so often, one goal short! Your ability to keep the fun in hockey was amazing! Game notes Submitted by Jake Norman, Defense The Predators started off slow in the final regular season game against YSE on Feb 17/19. The boys were down 1-0 early. The boys fought back hard to tie it up then quickly took the lead 2-1. YSE answered back to tie up the score. A hard forward drive allowed the Preds to take the lead again, Preds 3 - YSE 2. YSE battled hard again to tie the score by the end of the second. The defense did a great of clearing our zone and the forwards pressured YSE hard at mid ice. Game notes submitted by Logan Therrien, forward The boys came out a little slow in the first but turned it up in the second and the final 20 with the determination to win! NCP ran into some trouble staying out of the box allowing Barrie to capitalized on their power play. Thankfully Benny D was standing on his head between the pipes which kept the score tight. Unfortunately, there just wasn't enough time to make the come back to win the game. 

Game notes submitted by Matthew Green, forward We allowed Clarington to dictate the play for early part of the game and allowed them to build a 3-0 lead. We were able to regroup after the intermission and game back into the third strong and determined. With 2:30 minutes left, we were down by one with a score of 4-3. We pulled our goalie to go for the tying goal but unfortunately, this didn't work in our favor as they quickly score two empty net goals. Final score Clarinton 6, NCP 3. 

Game notes submitted by Calum McDiarmid, forward On February 2 we played our final home game of the season against the Barrie Jr Colts. We struggled toward the end of the first period. As we began the second, we were able to score 2 goals, to bring the score to 5-2. We continued to fight until the buzzer that ended the second.
