Minor Midget / U16, 2019-2020 (North Central Predators AAA)

 Our team will be participating in this great event please come out and support the boys and this great cause.  Tickets are available at the door for $5.00. Come out to help us celebrate a great night of hockey at the 6th Annual :"Start Talking" Cup on January 9th, 2020 at the Holly Recreation Centre from 6pm to 10:30pm. The night will begin with the AA Barrie Sharks vs. Toronto Leaside Wildcats and then the AAA Minor Midget Barrie Colts vs. the Orillia North Central Predators. Just passing the half way point and the boys are playing some great hockey! Coach Gidari has seen his team play some close and hard fought games. The team has really come together and are learning what it takes to close out some tight games. The boys are extremely excited about the upcoming OMHA Showcase in Oakville with some very important games ahead! The team will continue building for the playoffs.

  The boys pushed hard through tryouts finishing with two strong efforts beating North Bay 4-3 at Rama and then tying North Bay 1-1 to end the home and home exhibition series at the North Bay Memorial Gardens in early May.  Since then a steady dose of fitness testing and hard work at Orillia Sports Medicine has been keeping the team busy through May and June.   July will bring a lot more work in the gym along with several skates with Sue Scott, team summer ice and several team bonding events.
