A excellent effort on Saturday against the Pete's ended a mini slump and put some much needed points in the win column.
With the news of one of the teams players having positive results from his upper body injury the team hit the ice ready to play. It showed scoring early in the first and not letting up to a much needed victory.
The team had a great forecheck all game frustrating the Pete's and leading to some excellent scoring opportunities for the Preds''. Solid team play from defence, forwards and great goal tending gave the Preds'' a 4-1 win and a very important two points in the division .
Sundays' game was vs the Oshawa Generals winners of three straight and had beat the Preds' earlier in the season 3-2. With a great start to the game the Preds' led for most of the game but fell just short of a win losing by 3-2.
As the weekend concluded the team can hold there head high as they continue to prove they are for real and will not give any team two points.
