Regular Season Kick Off
As always, the opening weekend is highly anticipated and the McLean and Dickey Predators were excited to get started!
The results of the weekend were certainly not what was hoped for however with the Preds struggling with penalties and consistent play.
Saturday we travelled to Ajax for our first regular season game and a team that in past years, we have had some sucess with. The Predators lost 6-3. We struggled staying out of the box and were for a large part of the game, in penalty kill mode.
Sunday, we took on the Oshawa Generals who we had just met the weekend before in the tournament and had hoped for a similar result however the Preds did not show up on this day to provide much of a push back. It was a high scoring game with the Generals coming out on top 7-5.
