The North Central Predators Minor Bantams wore pink on Saturday to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to show support for one of our hockey moms.  We would like to thank everyone in the stands who participated.
The team faced off against the Barrie Colts who came out strong.  Game notes are provided by Sam T.  The boys fell behind early but came back with two goals to take the lead before the end of the first period.

The Preds were able to stay out of penalty trouble, serving only one penalty but were unable to capitalize on power play opportunities.    In the second and third periods Barrie scored four unanswered goals to take the lead and hang on for their first win of the season.

On Sunday the Minor Bantams faced off against the York Simcoe Express.  The game summary is provided by Ben P.  With a quick start to the game the boys came out hard with the drive to win.  It was a hard fought game all three periods with intense and fast hockey.  The York Simcoe Express managed to put up two points on the board but overall the Preds were pleased with their effort, played tighter than Saturday’s game.  The boys are working hard this week on some skills so they can get the better of Ajax Pickering next Sunday.
