Minor Bantam, Bantam, 2017-2018 (North Central Predators AAA)

The Minor Bantam Predators started their OMHA Opening Round Series on Saturday February 24 in Ajax.   A summary of the game is provided by Matt G:  'We played well in the first, keeping it a 0-0 tie.  In the second period they came out and scored a goal right off the bat.  They then scored again, leaving the score at 2-0 Ajax at the end of the second.  

The Minor Bantam Predators have been rewarded for their hard work, facing off against Ajax in the opening round of the OMHA Playdowns.  Come on out and show your support as they start their series this weekend!  Game times are 4pm Saturday in Ajax and 2:30pm Sunday at Rama.   The team continues to appreciate the enthusiastic support of sponsors, family and friends as they work toward their individual and team goals.   Go Preds!

Game summary for the Minor Bantams game vs. Barrie on February 9 is provided by Jack T: The boys had an ok game but it showed us that we still need to work on consistency and team play.   We had some good moments that helped us take a 3-1 lead.  We struggled a bit and let up enough to let Barrie think they could make a come back.  Barrie scored 2 goals quickly and this gave them confidence to think they could beat us.  

The Minor Bantam Predators were able to build on their recent successes, notching a big win on Saturday February 3 versus the ETA West division leaders.   Donald H. noted that the team worked together to limit the Raiders' chances and that the Preds didn't get down when the Raiders were able to respond.  

The Minor Bantam Predators faced off against the Barrie Colts on Saturday in front of an enthusiastic crowd of family and friends.   Game summary is provided by Nic L, noting that the game did not start as the Preds hoped, with Barrie scoring first.  The lead didn't last long however, as the Preds answered back before the end of the first period.
