Building Momentum
The Minor Bantam Predators got back into the 'Win' column in Rochester before returning to league play at home. On November 17-19 the team participated in the "Bracket Madness" tournament in Rochester, New York, fighting through injuries to win 2 of 5 games.
|On Saturday the Preds returned home to face YSE in front of an enthusiastic crowd of family and friends. Game notes are provided by Donald H. |Positives for the Preds were getting shots away and scoring first. Notes to work on include moving the puck better and playing hard after scoring goals. In this game he noticed that the team got up by one goal early before YSE scored a quick one and got back into the game, going on to win.
The team came back strong in the second and played well in the third period also.
Sunday's game summary provided by Jack T: The Preds got off to a bit of a slow start with some heavy feet in our game against Markham. We came back strong and fast in the third and were forechecking and backchecking well. A great third period resulted in the 4-3 win! Jack noted that the team needs to focus on getting the puck out at our blue line and into the opponent's end. We also need to bring our third period intensity, speed and energy to the start of the game.
